Tired of the continued attacks on women's health and hoping for some open dialogue from your U.S. Representative? Congressman Keith Ellison is hosting a forum entitled 'Protecting Women's Rights in an Age of Extremism' on June 20 at 6 PM at Minneapolis Central Library.
For over a year, extremist politicians have worked hard to set women back—with devastating economic, social, and political consequences. Instead of creating good jobs and ensuring access to affordable health care, these extremists are focused on undoing pay equity laws, defunding women’s health organizations, and cutting assistance for low-income women and their families. Enough is enough! We need to ensure women are never treated like second-class citizens. We’ll discuss what’s happening locally and nationally and what you can do to change it. To RSVP, click here.
Panelists include: State Representative Marion Greene Former State Senator Tarryl Clark Tim Stanley, Political Director for Planned Parenthood Minnesota/North Dakota/South Dakota Action Fund Fartun Weli, Immigrant Women’s Health Care Advocate Susy Bates, Political Director for Women Winning
